What is cloud ?
Before cloud the companies used to buy the servers to host their web applications from IBM and many more. The problem arising is that its too costlier and the main thing is that suppose a company B is buying 15 servers which has 100 GB and 100 CPU's but when it host a single website on single server which takes 1 GB and 1 CPU so remain all the memory are being wasted which lead to loss for the companies.
So, to solve this problem the concept of virtualization is come in the picture. Basically what virtualization used to that it makes the virtual servers on the main servers so you can host multiple websites on single server which leads to proper uses of memory.
Virtualization is proven beneficial for the companies because with the help of this concept anyone form anywhere can use all the resources of that server from any region. It leads company to be in profit.
Cloud It's basically like cloud are interconnected and you don't know region but still can use all the services from any region but most probably all developers know the region . It's managed by the system administrator.
Public vs Private cloud
The cloud which is managed by the system administrator of it's own companies and it's not publicly accessible that is Private Cloud which is used by the company and their employees.
The Cloud which is publicly accessible and can be used by anyone from any regions that is Public Cloud. Mostly this services are used by the Start-ups Companies because it's easy for their business.
Why Public Cloud is so popular?
To manage the private cloud you have to take care of all the servers, cost , security , availability etc. It takes a lot's of responsibilities to handle it because a single mistakes gives companies a huge loss.
Why AWS ?
Now in the market there are a lots of cloud services companies like AWS , Azure , GCP , IBM , Digital Ocean , Civo etc. AWS becomes the popular cloud services because it's a first one who introduced this all services in the market. And if you see then AWS has great market share than Azure and GCP so the job openings for the AWS are more than them.
